Job summary

Kay Jewelers, part of Signet Jewelers, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales and profit goals while delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will develop team capabilities, train staff, and help recruit top talent, promoting an within-promotion culture.

Ideal candidates bring at least one year of retail experience, proficiency with POS systems, and the ability to follow diverse instructions.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards to attain sales and profit projections
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction; develop skills and product knowledge of team members
• Recruitment and selection of team members; enforce all Company policies and procedures
• Perform other operational and strategic duties as assigned
