Job summary

Kay Jewelers, part of Signet Jewelers, seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in driving sales and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

You will develop your team through training, recruit staff, and uphold company policies while working toward sales and profit goals. The role requires retail experience and availability to work days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager to maintain daily focus on standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction; develop skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation.
• Recruit and select team members and enforce all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other operational and strategic duties as required.
