Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in achieving sales goals and maintaining exceptional customer service. You will lead by example, drive staff development, and ensure compliance with company policies while managing daily store operations.

The role emphasizes training on sales techniques, product knowledge, and team development, with opportunities for advancement within Signet Jewelers’ promotion-from-within culture.

Qualifications

• At least one year of retail experience is required, preferably with a jeweler or specialty retailer.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in maintaining daily focus on standards achievement to attain sales and profit projections.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction; develop skills and product knowledge of team members through training and evaluation.
• Recruiting and selection of team members; following and enforcing all Company policies and procedures; performing other operational and strategic duties.
