Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. is seeking an Assistant in Training and Assistant Manager to drive sales and lead a dynamic team in our Allen, Texas store.

This role works closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit, train and motivate Teammates, while ensuring exceptional guest service and store presentation. Responsibilities include achieving sales goals, coaching staff, managing merchandising, and stepping in as Store Manager when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related retail experience preferred.
• Ability to lead teammates and provide guidance in daily operations.
• Strong customer service and sales skills in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales and deliver legendary guest service across the store.
• Recruit, train and develop teammates; lead in absence of Store Manager.
• Oversee visual merchandising and zone ownership to maintain store standards.
• Manage store operations including opening/closing, loss prevention and POS procedures.
• Conduct coaching and performance feedback to drive team performance.
• Assist Store Manager with staffing, onboarding and scheduling decisions.
