Total Wine & More in Tempe, AZ seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a team, and uphold exceptional customer service. You will partner with the Store Manager to execute store operations, payroll, inventory, merchandising, and shrink control while maintaining a welcoming, knowledgeable atmosphere.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail leadership, a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and flexible availability including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in a retail setting.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team, including ongoing development to enhance product knowledge and sales skills.
• Support day-to-day operations, including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer issues.
• Help maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations related to the sale of alcohol and maintain a safe and compliant store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
