Lids Sports Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Odessa, TX to lead daily store operations and drive sales while delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves team leadership, training, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.

The position reports to the Store Manager and requires the ability to manage schedules, develop staff, and maintain Loss Prevention standards in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a retail team and achieving sales targets.
• Ability to manage store operations and scheduling when the Store Manager is absent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues when Store Manager is not present.
• Develop and train store personnel per Lids training programs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and protect assets.
• Lead selling strategy to achieve KPIs and provide exceptional service.
• Manage cash handling and store opening/closing procedures.
