Job summary

ALDI seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Silver Spring, MD to support store operations, drive sales growth, control expenses, and deliver excellent customer service. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will develop the team and uphold ALDI values while executing company policies.

The role is full-time with an average 38 hours per week and starts at $27.50 per hour, with a wage increase to $28.50 in Year 2. You will lead staffing, scheduling, merchandising and day-to-day operations to achieve

Responsibilities

• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with store manager guidance.
• Leads and develops store personnel to meet performance goals.
• Assists in creating action plans to improve operating results and development.
• Leads interviews, provides hiring recommendations, and supports scheduling.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and cash handling.
• Manages weekly schedules and merchandising standards to maximize sales.
• Drives KPI attainment and monitors store performance against budget.
