Ace Retail Group is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee store operations, drive customer service excellence and ensure safety and compliance. The role involves daily supervision of staff, opening/closing duties, training and coordinating with the Store Support Center on programs.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, manufacture assembly directions, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Ability to work independently, ability to work flexible hours, effective communication skills (verbal and written). Standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 50lbs regularly, and up to 100lbs occasionally with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive representation of Ace Retail Group. Proactively assist customers in solving problems. Greet customers entering and throughout the store. Thank customers when finished and when they are leaving the store. Provide a friendly, outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.
• Ensure a positive, professional and safe work environment for all associates. Supervise the general operations of the entire store. Responsible for opening and closing the store. Assist with the implementation of Store Support Center programs. Ensure successful Loss Prevention, Safety and Internal Audits.
