Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with daily store activities, organizing merchandise, and ensuring a safe, clean environment.

You will help train Store Associates, protect company assets, and uphold policies while delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced retail setting at our Edgefield, SC location. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures, displays, and promotional effectiveness.
