Dollar Tree in Canton, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise store associates to maintain a safe, friendly environment.

The role requires strong communication, physical ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Part-time position with opportunities to contribute to payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain store fixtures and displays for promotional effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and handling payroll/scheduling/cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed by all associates.
• Help supervise, train, and develop store associates; foster positive environment.
• Keep store clean and presentable, restocking bathrooms and floors.
