Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Sulphur is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, service customers, and develop a cohesive team. This part-time role emphasizes friendly service, daily performance, and adherence to company policies.

You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise flow, staff coaching, and maintaining a safe, clean shopping environment while upholding standards and organizational goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Retail management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and climb stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and daily activities.
• Help customers with questions and concerns.
• Organize merchandise from truck to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Keep sales floor and stockroom stocked and organized.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
• Help train and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
