Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Collinsville, OK to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, coordinate merchandise movement from delivery to sales floor, and help maintain seasonal displays.

This role emphasizes strong communication and leadership to supervise and train associates, ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment, and execute opening/closing procedures while upholding company

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash handling, and loss prevention.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
