You will assist with staffing, training, and inventory control, ensuring outstanding customer service and adherence to company standards. The position is non-exempt and hourly with opportunities to lead during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, preferably footwear and athletic apparel.
• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a team and keep up with goals.
• Self-starter with initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in controlling store assets.
• Collaborate with Store Manager to plan selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
• Stepping in as acting manager in the Store Manager's absence.
• Participate in personnel recruiting, training, and evaluation.
• Provide knowledge and guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
• Maintain profitability by monitoring inventory, sales statistics, and expenses.
• Direct staff to ensure department responsibilities are completed.
• Ensure quality customer service and store standards.
