Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. in Rancho Cordova, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, organize merchandise, and ensure displays stay maintained and inviting.

You will help train Store Associates, supervise day-to-day activities, and uphold safety and company policies. The role requires strong communication and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs in a high-energy environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise between delivery, stockroom, and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays to support sales.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, and cash handling.
• Maintain clean, stocked, and presentable store areas.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and follow safety guidelines.
• Support Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing associates.
