Job summary

CNRG, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Store Manager for our Oneonta, AL location. You will oversee store operations in the Store Manager’s absence, lead store associates, and ensure adherence to our Mission and Values while delivering aggressive customer service.

The role requires strong leadership, merchandising knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to manage local market dynamics. Flexible scheduling including weekends/evenings/holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service focus and ability to motivate a team.
• Able to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., and maneuver large items.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify and ensure CNRG’s Mission and Values remain forefront in daily business and communicate expectations to staff.
• Provide aggressive customer service as part of total store operations and exceed customer expectations
• Assist in achieving store budgeted goals through actions of self and key associates
• Merchandise the retail floor to company standards
• Verify merchandise is received, stored and merchandised per procedures
• Monitor deliveries to ensure timely loading and prompt customer pickup
• Pursue new commercial customers while maintaining strong service for existing customers
• Report unusual occurrences to Store Manager and address issues promptly
• Lead store associates in the Manager's absence and reinforce company policies
• Assist with recruiting, selecting, and training associates; foster teamwork
• Be certified in areas including forklift, DOT, gate, receiving, and service desk
• Complete product knowledge courses and master opening/closing procedures and customer service skills
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor or company official.
