Job summary

CNRG, Inc. is seeking a proactive Assistant Store Manager to run store operations in the absence of the Store Manager. You will lead associates, uphold the company culture, and drive aggressive customer service across all departments.

You must maintain certifications in store operations and contribute to achieving budgeted goals, while training staff and coordinating merchandising and safety procedures. A flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate leadership and problem solving with limited supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication with customers, vendors and associates.
• Understand aggressive customer service and be team-oriented.
• Interpret data and coordinate merchandise and operations in the absence of the Store Manager.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify and ensure CNRG's Mission and Values in daily business and inform associates of store expectations.
• Ensure aggressive customer service is defined and demonstrated to exceed customer expectations.
• Assist in achieving store budgeted goals through associates and actions.
• Merchandise to company standards and verify proper receiving and shelving procedures.
• Monitor deliveries and ensure timely loading and customer pickup processing.
• Recruit, select, and train associates; foster a team environment.
• Maintain certifications in store areas (forklifts, DOT, gate, receiving, service desk).
• Complete required product knowledge and store procedures including opening/closing and service skills.
