Famous Footwear in Myrtle Beach, SC is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager who loves shoes and leading teams. You will act as the store leader in the absence of the Store Manager, coach associates, drive sales, and ensure flawless store execution and customer engagement every day.

As a people leader, you’ll hire, train, and develop talent, optimize daily operations from pricing to inventory, and uphold brand standards.

Qualifications

• Has a High School Diploma/GED.
• Has at least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred).
• Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store Associates at all levels.
• Displays ability to train, coach and develop Associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks.
• Exercises independent judgment and discretion partnering with Store Sales Manager, as needed.
• Demonstrates strong cognitive skills, including problem solving analysis, decision making, and financial and quantitative analysis.
• Has advanced working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Can work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Has basic computer skills.
