Carter’s, Inc. in Saugus, MA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager who will be the first face of the brand for growing families.

You will welcome customers, introduce baby essentials, and help families prepare for the first day of school and other moments on their parenting journey. We value leadership, inclusivity, and ongoing learning; you’ll lead a team, coach staff, and drive KPIs while delivering outstanding service in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of retail or related management experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays with at least two closing shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Execute workforce management to ensure a genuine customer focus on the sales floor.
• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features and benefits.
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers.
• Coach others to success and model omnichannel service.
• Analyze the business and KPIs with the team and take action to improve results.
• Assist the Store Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, and development of store team.
• Plan, track, analyze, and report completion of tasks and financial results.
• Partner with Store Manager on merchandising standards, promotions, and product placement.
• Reduce loss through service, education, and operational controls.
