Family Dollar is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Atlanta, GA to support day-to-day store operations, customer service, and team development. You will supervise Store Associates, assist with merchandising, and ensure a safe, welcoming shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and prior store leadership experience. You will help with opening/closing procedures, payroll, scheduling, and loss prevention, while maintaining store appearance and asset security.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail/grocery/drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Customer service and organizational skills required.

Mansioni

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, payroll, scheduling, cash receipts, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff follow procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep store clean including bathrooms and floors, and handle waste.
• Other duties as assigned.
