Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland in Cedar Rapids East Store is seeking a full-time Assistant Store Manager to lead a friendly retail team and deliver excellent service to shoppers and donors.

You will train staff, complete documentation, supervise operations in the Store Manager's absence, and help keep the store neatly merchandised and inviting. This role includes a rotating schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time employment in a related field.
• Former supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Must pass background screening: Iowa driver’s license, auto insurance, MVR, and criminal check.

Responsibilities

• Support Store Manager and lead a team to maintain an attractive, inviting store.
• Train team members and complete documentation and other records.
• Ensure the safety of the team and Goodwill customers.
• Provide supervision to the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist with merchandising and pricing to maintain neat displays.
