Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; ability to read, interpret, and follow directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment; exceptional customer service and organization.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures, displays, and store appearance.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll/scheduling records, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Ensure store cleanliness, restrooms, floors, and trash handling.
• Other duties as assigned.
