Frontline Source Group is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Cincinnati, OH. This hands-on leadership role focuses on developing employees, solving operational challenges, and driving store performance on the sales floor.

The ideal candidate has experience in retail, grocery, food service, or merchandising, with strong customer service and teamwork skills, and a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in retail, grocery, food service, hospitality, or a similar customer-facing environment.
• Strong knowledge of perishable products, product rotation, food safety, and quality standards.
• Proven ability to coach, train, motivate, and hold employees accountable.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example on the sales floor while supporting employees, department managers, and customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Create a positive, professional, and customer-focused store culture.
• Engage with customers, answer questions, resolve concerns, and ensure a memorable shopping experience.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, rotation, sanitation, and food-safety standards.
• Help ensure a safe environment for customers, employees, equipment, and company property.
• Enforce store policies, procedures, and operational expectations consistently.
• Delegate daily responsibilities and follow up to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Assist with employee scheduling, time and attendance monitoring, and staffing coverage needs.
