GPM Investments, LLC is hiring an Assistant Manager for our Indianapolis-area convenience store. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, and coach a team to deliver outstanding customer service and store performance.

The role requires open availability including weekends and holidays, with second or third shifts likely. A Food Safety Certification is required or obtainable, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and leadership experience.
• Must be available weekends, holidays, and likely second or third shifts.
• Minimum age 21+ and valid driver’s license.
• Food Safety Certification required or able to obtain.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• English fluency with basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and help customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Act as manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and fuel pumps.
• Prepare team schedules for full coverage.
• Handle daily cash deposits and oversee store finances.
• Provide leadership feedback to motivate the team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
