Maxway in Siler City, NC is seeking a Store Supervisor to drive sales by leading daily priorities and delivering a great customer and associate experience.

You will ensure leaders are visible on the sales floor, communicate effectively, and supervise tasks such as merchandising, stocking, scheduling, and recovery blitzes to maintain a clean, organized store.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of related experience in retail customer service.
• Fundamental reading and math skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Responsabilités

• Provide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner to maximize satisfaction and sales.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule to provide predictability in workload scheduling.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.
• Unload trucks, process freight, stock counters, and other tasks to maintain sales floor.
• Review daily staffing and evaluate recovery needs.
• Conduct recovery blitzes at 2, 4, 6 and 8.
• Monitor fitting room, selling floor and sizing recovery.
• Communicate cleanliness expectations and inspect completion prior to sign-off.
• Provide handoff to incoming MOD or communicate for opening MOD.
• Provide support to store management as requested.

Position Purpose

Designed to drive comp sales through consistent leadership of daily priorities in order to create a great customer and associate experience. Ensure: leaders are visible on the sales floor at all times. Effective two-way communication takes place between management and associates. Tasks are completed in a timely manner. Associates are happy and more productive, resulting in a great in-store experience for Associates and Customers.

Job Scope

This position coordinates the work of Customer Service Associates.

This position has no direct budgetary accountability.

Essential Functions

1) Provide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.

2) Adhere to assigned work schedule in order to provide predictability in workload scheduling.

3) Follow all Company policies and procedures in order to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.

4) In applicable instances, unloads trucks, processes freight, stocks counters, and any other function needed to maintain salesfloor.

5) Review daily staffing

8) Conduct recovery blitzes at 2, 4, 6 and 8

9) Monitor fitting room, selling floor and sizing recovery

Working Conditions

Retail store environment where extended periods of standing are required

Retail store stockroom environment subject to fluctuations in temperature

Occasional lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displays

Frequent lifting and maneuvering of merchandise and displays

Exposure to dust and extreme temperatures while unloading trailers

Scheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekends

Occasional use of ladders required
