Job summary

Maxway 1591 in Ponchatoula, LA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to coordinate daily priorities and provide an outstanding in-store experience for customers. You will support the store team with service, merchandising, and recovery efforts to keep the sales floor well-stocked and inviting.

The role requires 1–2 years of retail experience, a High School diploma or GED, and strong English communication skills. Evening and weekend hours are possible.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive customer service by treating customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner in order to maximize customer satisfaction and sales.
• Adhere to assigned work schedule in order to provide predictability in workload scheduling.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures in order to maximize customer service, sales, and store profitability.
• In applicable instances, unloads trucks, processes freight, stocks counters, and any other function needed to maintain salesfloor.
• Review daily staffing.
• Evaluate recovery needs.
• Conduct recovery blitzes at 2, 4, 6 and 8.
• Monitor fitting room, selling floor and sizing recovery.
• Communicate cleanliness expectations and inspect for completion prior to sign off.
• Conduct effective hand off to incoming MOD or provide communication for opening MOD.
• Provide support to store management as requested.

Job Scope

Retail store environment where extended periods of standing are required

Retail store stockroom environment subject to fluctuations in temperature

Exposure to dust and extreme temperatures while unloading trailers

Scheduled work hours may vary, to include evenings and weekends
