Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and able to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties including walking, standing, bending, and climbing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize, transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor, maintain seasonal displays.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, handling payroll, scheduling, and cash deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect assets including cash and follow safety policies.
• Support Store Manager in training and developing Store Associates.
