Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, pull/hold, scheduling and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged items, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, safety guidelines; supervise and develop Store Associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain store cleanliness; restrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
