Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives is required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks described in the job duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, and handling payroll/scheduling/cash deposits.
• Maintain a well-stocked and organized store layout and stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including cash.
• Support Store Manager in training and development of Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team.
