Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. The role involves assisting with daily activities, merchandising, and ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming store environment.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, handling directives, and coaching store associates to deliver excellent customer experiences. This full-time position is based in Huntington Woods, MI.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
