Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. Duties include assisting with day-to-day store activities, organizing merchandise, and helping with opening and closing procedures.

You will contribute to a positive, safe environment, supervise and train associates, ensure safety and proper cash handling, and help maintain a neat, well-stocked sales floor in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or related environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks is required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked, clean sales floor and organized stockroom.
