You will assist with opening/closing, merchandising, cash handling, scheduling, and adherence to company policies while maintaining a safe, friendly environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives is required.
• Retail store management experience is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Process corporate directives and store communications.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, payroll, scheduling, cash deposits.
• Maintain store areas to company standards; protect assets including cash.
• Adhere to policies and safety guidelines; train and develop associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
