Job summary

Family Dollar in Blakely, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and support opening and closing procedures.

You will help organize merchandise, maintain store cleanliness, manage payroll/scheduling, and support loss prevention while ensuring a safe, respectful environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operations and activities.
• Support customers with service and questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and floor.
