GPM Investments, LLC seeks an Assistant Manager for our high-energy convenience store in Sumter, SC. You will support the Store Manager in daily operations, run the register, and lead a team focused on customer service and store success.

Expect to work weekends and nights, with opportunities for growth into store leadership. You will oversee scheduling, inventory, and merchandising while maintaining a clean, welcoming environment and delivering strong customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Customer service and leadership experience in retail or food service.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and second/third shifts.
• Must have or be able to obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager with day-to-day operations.
• Operate the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when Store Manager is off.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
