Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support daily store operations, lead a team, and assist with staffing. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive sales and maintain operational excellence, including hiring, onboarding, and developing store associates.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–4 years in a retail leadership role, and strong communication and organizational skills suitable for a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years of experience as an Assistant Manager or similar retail leadership role.
• 3–5 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations to meet sales goals and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales activity and guide associates to deliver excellent service.
• Assist with inventory control, transactions, and shrink prevention.
• Ensure compliance with Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Provide coaching and performance support to associates.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support store operations.
