Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience managing retail or grocery teams preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and move merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Follow corporate directives and store policies, maintain records and reports.
• Maintain store displays and promotional fixtures for effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, payroll and scheduling responsibilities, and loss prevention.
• Maintain neat, well-stocked sales floor and stockroom.
• Protect store assets, including cash, and ensure security procedures.
• Ensure a clean, safe environment and proper store conduct by associates.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Communicate professionally with customers, associates and leaders.
