Bluewater Convenience Stores in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive results, and support a positive employee and customer experience. The role works as the manager-on-duty when the Store Manager is away, requiring hands-on leadership and a proactive approach.

You will guide team members, ensure operational excellence, and help recruit, train, and coach staff while maintaining brand standards and safety across the store and fuel operations.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older and a background check required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws preferred.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including 10-hour shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations and set a positive tone for staff.
• Ensure cleanliness, stocking, pricing accuracy and signage.
• Uphold fuel station safety, brand standards, and compliance.
• Assist with promotions, reporting, and documentation.
• Perform cashier and food service duties as needed.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, and coaching staff.
• Manage performance discussions and corrective actions.
