Bluewater Convenience Stores in Charleston, SC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to help lead daily operations, drive results, and support a positive employee and customer experience. You will serve as manager-on-duty when the Store Manager is away and provide hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong communication, retail or supervisory experience, and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including 10‑hour shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations and maintain high standards.
• Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and training team members.
• Provide guidance and coach employees to meet goals.
• Ensure cleanliness, stock, pricing accuracy, and safety.
• Accept duties as manager-on-duty when Store Manager is away.
• Handle cash, reports, and customer service tasks as needed.
