Bluewater Convenience Stores in Charleston, SC, is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Wando area to help lead daily operations and drive strong results while fostering an excellent customer and employee experience.

You’ll guide team members, ensure operational excellence, and act as manager-on-duty when the Store Manager is away. This hands-on role offers growth opportunities within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous retail or supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of employment laws preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules (10-hour shifts, weekends, holidays).

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations and standards to ensure a clean, stocked, and inviting store.
• Maintain pricing accuracy and product availability.
• Uphold fuel station safety and brand standards.
• Execute monthly promotions and manage signage and POS materials.
• Support daily reporting and documentation.
• Perform cashier and food service duties as needed.
• Lead recruiting, interviewing, and hiring efforts.
• Coach and motivate employees and conduct performance discussions.
