Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Livermore, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager -Lucky- for a busy Food Maxx store. You will work with the Store Manager to direct day-to-day operations, ensure product quality, and maintain store inventory while providing outstanding customer service.

You will lead front-end operations, develop weekly schedules, oversee hiring and training, and coach team members to meet budgets and goals.

Qualifications

• Four year college degree or RMCP or related retail training.
• Minimum of two years of management/leadership experience is required.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversee store operations with emphasis on front-end and service levels.
• Direct and coach Team Members; final decision maker in Store Manager's absence.
• Manage inventory issues and vendor relations to ensure date integrity.
• Develop work schedules and lead recruitment and training.
• Monitor sales and labor costs to meet budgets.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, safety, and company policies.
