Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Fresno, CA is seeking an Assistant Center Store Manager for Food Maxx. You will supervise Front-End operations and night and deli areas, drive productivity, and ensure excellent customer service.

You will rotate responsibilities, train staff, maintain store standards, and support the Store Manager when needed. A year of college and experience in retail operations are preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of college or equivalent knowledge from formal education, training, or job experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities are required.
• Experience supervising, training, and organizing staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in Front-End and assigned areas to maintain customer service excellence.
• Oversees operations in Night Crew, Frozen/Dairy/Deli, and Evening functions as assigned.
• Drives productivity, reduces shrink, and ensures price integrity in the area.
• Trains and develops associates, completes supervision reports, and fosters a collaborative work environment.
• Ensures cleanliness, safety, and adherence to store policies.
