Job summary

GameStop in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all store operations. You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, promote a sales culture, provide best-in-class guest service, and ensure the store presents products clearly.

You will train staff, manage scheduling, process transactions, support omni-channel orders, and maintain compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/merchandising preferred.
• Retail management experience (6 months preferably) and strong guest service skills are expected.
• Video game knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service, greet guests, answer questions, and promote promotions.
• Supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in the Store Manager's absence.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, and onboarding to maintain coverage and training.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system and manage store records.
• Support Omni-Channel orders fulfilment and ensure a clean, organized store environment.
• Uphold company policies, loss prevention and safety guidelines.
