Job summary

GameStop in Winston-Salem, NC seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support Store Manager in all facets of store operations, implement the Circle of Life sales model, and foster a high-energy sales culture with guest-focused service.

You will lead a team of Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, ensuring product visibility, training, and compliance with company policies while driving guest loyalty and daily sales. This role requires strong communication, collaboration, and a passion for gaming.

Qualifications

• Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred in business/marketing/merchandising or related field.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• At least 2 years of retail sales, guest service, and/or management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and lead by example in daily interactions.
• Assist Store Manager with daily store operations and supervision of staff.
• Ensure store is clean, organized, and visually appealing for guests.
• Coach and develop Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders; monitor performance and feedback.
• Manage scheduling, payroll, and attendance with accuracy and compliance.
• Oversee Omni-Channel order fulfillment and accurate processing of transactions.
