Job summary

GameStop in United States is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in all facets of store operations and to develop a sales culture by providing outstanding guest service experiences.

You will supervise Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders, promote guest benefits, and help ensure an organized, welcoming store environment. Strong communication and leadership in a retail setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or accredited bachelor's degree in business, marketing, merchandising or related field preferred.
• At least 6 months of retail management experience preferred.
• Video game knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class guest service and greet guests; respond to questions quickly and courteously.
• Promote store initiatives, ensure merchandise is visible and easy to buy.
• Process guest purchases/returns using POS accurately; provide receipts and great service.
• Supervise store team in absence of Store Manager and ensure policy compliance.
• Assist in scheduling, payroll, and ensuring store cleanliness and organization.
