Generate Sales
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect Company assets according to LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store work schedules that ensure proper coverage within wage control guidelines.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Complete timely and accurate product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
Additional Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise Associates
- Act as Store Manager on duty for scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc., in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Manage store associates through training, goal setting, and follow-up when the Store Manager is unavailable.
- Implement disciplinary steps, including warnings, in the Store Manager's absence.
- Handle store scheduling and staffing, including calling in associates during peak times.
- Participate in training programs, set goals, and follow up regularly.
- Assist in recruiting and training staff on store operations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguard inventory, funds, and property.
- Perform subordinate tasks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all employee levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
- Ability to work independently.
