General Description
- Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets following LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store work schedules to ensure proper coverage and wage control.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
- Complete timely and accurate product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping per policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store according to procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
Additional Duties
- Manage store associates through training, goal setting, and follow-up, especially in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Implement disciplinary steps, including verbal and written warnings when necessary.
- Handle scheduling and staffing, including calling in associates for unexpected peaks.
- Participate in training programs, set and follow up on sales and task goals.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including inventory, funds, and property security.
- Perform work of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales results while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of work time.
- Ability to work independently.
