Job summary

Läderach in Bellevue seeks a Deputy Manager to lead an exceptional in-store experience, coach staff, and drive sales while supporting the Store Manager in achieving quotas. The role emphasizes training, merchandising accuracy, and adherence to food-safety standards in a premium chocolate retail setting.

You will schedule shifts, coordinate store meetings, and uphold corporate values, reporting to the Store and Regional Managers.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail experience with increasing responsibility.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Reliable with a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft 365, data entry, spreadsheets, and POS.
• Detail-oriented and proactive with a passion for chocolate.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store customer experience and motivate staff to provide top-notch customer care.
• Oversee product sales, shelf care, gift packaging, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure accuracy of merchandising and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Schedule staff shifts and coordinate store meetings and events.
• Support Store Manager with merchandising accuracy and inventory orders.
• Maintain in-store compliance and loss prevention standards.
• Communicate corporate values to customers and employees.
• Act as a point of contact in the Store Manager’s absence.
• Handle other role-related responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.
