GPM Investments is seeking an Assistant Manager for Store 578 in Springfield, IL. This full-time role requires strong customer service, operations oversight, and leadership across shifts, with weekly pay and bonus potential.

You will support the Store Manager, run registers, coach a team, and ensure a high-quality store experience for customers. Growth into store management is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Open availability including weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license and insurance.
• Physical readiness for cleaning, trash & outdoor areas.
• Minimum age 21+ years old.
• Proficient English communication and basic math.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced store.
• Must have or obtain Food Safety Certification.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team to upsell products and promotions.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering and merchandising to keep stock.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full shift coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits, oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
