Job summary

GPM Investments LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for our convenience store in Nekoosa, WI. You will support the Store Manager, run the register, coach a team, and help maintain store operations and guest service across all shifts.

This full-time role requires weekend and holiday availability and willingness to work second or third shifts. We offer weekly pay, a $1,000 sign-on bonus after six months, a path to store leadership, 401(k) and PTO, plus health benefits.

Qualifications

• Open availability for weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle.
• Physical readiness for cleaning and stocking tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and courtesy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products.
• Help hire, train, and lead a high-performing team.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store and restrooms.
• Create and manage team schedules; perform cash handling and deposits.
• Provide feedback that motivates the team to excel.
