Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking an Assistant Manager for a high-energy convenience store in Wisconsin. You will support the Store Manager, handle cash, supervise a team, and ensure excellent customer service during weekends and holidays. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth.

The role requires open availability for second or third shifts, reliable transportation, and a Food Safety Certification or the ability to obtain one. Weekly pay and a sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Open Availability: weekends, holidays and likely second/third shifts.
• Reliable transportation with valid driver's license, vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Physical readiness for cleaning and maintenance tasks.
• Minimum age 21+ years.
• Proficient English with basic math skills.
• Willing to learn and grow in retail leadership.
• Food Safety Certification (or ability to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Run the register and assist customers with speed and accuracy.
• Coach and motivate team members to upsell products and promotions.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team focused on customer service.
• Step in as acting manager when the Store Manager is off.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and merchandising to keep stock full.
• Maintain a clean, welcoming store including restrooms and pumps.
• Create and manage team schedules for full coverage.
• Perform daily cash handling and deposits; oversee store financials.
• Provide feedback and leadership to motivate the team.
• Other duties as assigned
