Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Kansas to support the Store Manager in achieving financial results and Legendary Customer Experience. You will lead across sales, service, and store operations, and help drive team development and daily execution in a dynamic farm and ranch retail environment.

Successful candidates will have retail leadership experience, familiarity with farming or ranching, and a commitment to safety and policy compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous retail leadership experience is required.
• Knowledge of farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts with varied hours, including nights, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Uphold a safe and productive work environment by following policies and procedures.
• Deliver Legendary Service and coach team members for consistent execution.
• Assist Store Manager with driving sales, planning tasks, and daily operations.
• Support hiring, training, and policy compliance; manage opening/closing routines.
